The Ivy Hero's Fund was established by the 5th Grade Class of 2009 to assist with the medical bills and expenses brought on by the heroic act of Evangelina Siguenza (Jorge's wife), as she leaped in front of a moving car to save a toddler's life on May 31st. In the process of saving this young life, Evangelina took the full impact of the oncoming car, shattering her arm and requiring reconstructive surgery in the process. |
